Our Company

Babyjane Productions is an independent production company with a focus on TV, film, CGI and stop motion animation. We provide story ideas, story development, scripts, pre-production and production services for TV drama, feature films and animation films.

We develop our own projects and are also available to provide Executive Producer, development, co-production, section 481, location, crew and production services to clients.

Our purpose is to push the boundaries of the imagination through gritty, dynamic and thought provoking stories. To give a voice to various stories throughout the world; to help create visual content that will not only stimulate but also encourage people to take risks that empower them.

 

Emma Owen – Executive Producer / ProducerEmma

Emma founded Babyjane Productions in 2013. Today, Babyjane has offices in Galway and Northern Ireland working across feature film and television drama productions. Emma’s focus is on overseeing the development of our film and television slate and working as an Executive Producer or Producer, whether from our own slate, co-productions or as hired for service provider.   A performing arts graduate from University of Winchester (formally King Alfreds). Emma is also an established actress with over 20 years experience working all over the world.

 

 

Pauric Brennan – Writer / Directormetoo

Over the past few years Pauric has written several plays, short films and published a book. His stage play The Land premiered at the Watergate Theatre, Kilkenny. His script ’33’ was part of the 2015 Scene + Heard program in Smock Alley Theatre Dublin.

He produced ‘He Waits’- won Best Script at LITF Festival 2011 (written by Samuel Kingston). His other short scripts produced include ‘Effigy Road’ directed by Robert Kelly, short listed for awards at LITFF and ‘Dead Diary’, Look at Me, Backstage – which won best actor at LITFF and finalist at Offline Film festival, directed by Stephen Rigney.

He directed The Duel, which was a finalist at Offline Film Festival 2012. He wrote and directed Masterpiece, and more recently The Rosen Bridge that was supported by Kildare Arts County Council. Rosen Bridge was a finalist in Borgus Films Influence Hitchcock competition.

In 2013 Pauric was part of a team of writers working with Kildare County Council, Tim Palmer, David Keating and Ferdia MacAnna in the creation of a new feature film, All About Eva. He also worked on The Vikings, Mrs Brown Boy’s D’movie, Damo and Ivor and Dare to Be Wild.

 

 

Gavin Martyn – Writer / Directorimg_0796

Gavin is a Galway based corporate and music video director who graduated with a Masters from the Huston Film school in 2015. Since then, he has worked with a variety of distinguished businesses and musicians, both local and regional.

– To generate jobs in the Irish film industry with continuous projects.

– To become the gateway for Irish filmmakers entering the American market and American filmmakers entering Irish and European markets
